The Turbine Boutique Hotel
Set on the edge of Thesen Island in Knysna, The Turbine is an old power station that has been lovingly transformed into nothing less than an upscale boutique hotel. All of the original machinery has been integrated into the design of the hotel to create a unique look and feel.
Enjoy an evening sundowner on the viewing deck or in the Tapas Bar although you might want to take your drink onto the hotel’s private pontoon boat, Turbine Trixie, and have a cruise around the lagoon. You may also like to indulge in a massage at the Turbine Spa or simply relax at the pool. Located at the heart of the famous Garden Route, this hotel is also central to an array of fantastic restaurants, wildlife excursions and outdoor adventures.
