Dining

Enjoy lunch and drinks around the pool at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge before considering your dinner options. The Boma Restaurant - voted the best restaurant in Victoria Falls by Tripadvisor - is definitely worth a visit for both a unique dining experience as well as a fun night out. There's a huge buffet with a superb selection of Zimbabwean dishes ranging from game steaks and stews to the local speciality - mopane worms!

Feast on these delicacies while being entertained by the songs and dances of Ndebele performers - ask for your own drum and you can even join in the music-making. After dinner visit the witchdoctor or be captivated by the stories of the restaurant's own sangoma. For a fine dining option, visit the Makuwa-Kuwa. This elevated a la carte restaurant provides superb food combined with excellent views over the busy waterhole below.

Just a bit of feedback and thanks. So far your plans for us have been wonderful. Kapama is a luxury experience way beyond what we expected. We were treated royally and enjoyed every second, even though we could not eat anywhere near the amazingl y lavish meals provided. Victoria Falls was my priority on this trip and did not disappoint. The Safari Lodge has a wonderful waterhole and viewing platform with regular visits by elephants as well as other creatures. We look forward to the next leg! Thanks for arranging this wonderful trip at such short notice. Pauline Wilkinson

Was also above and beyond what I expected. It is such an awesome designed lodge and the service and hospitality was also excellent. This lodge location is perfect for excursions in and around Vic Falls and they had reliable transport to take one to a ll the sites in the area. The BOMA restaurant at Vic Falls Safari Lodge also provided an experience in local cuisine, which was absolutely great. I will definately go back there for the Warthog and Eland steaks. Being adventurous we also tried the crocodile tail, which was served cold and it was very tasty. I just did not have the stomach to try the Mopanie worms.
