Overview of Zambezi Queen

Botswana, Chobe River

Gliding on the mighty Chobe River, this world-class house boat couples classic elegance with modern comforts, offering excellent sightings of the diverse wildlife that grace its banks. Ideal for romantics who are looking for two or three nights of boat-based safari experiences, the Zambezi Queen creates the ultimate, luxurious safari.

Relax on the deck, sip a refreshing drink in the lounge, or cool off in the pool as you look out over the river and spot wildlife on the banks. For closer encounters with wildlife, set out on smaller specialised boats that won’t disturb the animals in their natural environment. Half-day land-based game viewing is yet another possibility, while a helicopter ride to view these animals from above creates a truly memorable experience.

The Zambezi Queen was spectacular. Good combination of guests, great staff and hosts, great food, lovely mode of travel. Though the water was low, we took many game cruises and saw so much. Highly recommend this experience!

The Zambezi Queen is absolutely lovely, we all had a great time. It is quite a feat really as our ages spanned from 13 to 59 and we all enjoyed ourselves. It is really an amazing concept. The members staff were all so helpful and what they lacked in experience they more than made up with their charm and kindness. Nothing was too much for any of them. (We found quite a few ex Zimbabwean staff members which was great). The events and outings which were organised for us every day were great.
