Nawiri nominated for the World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards | Go2Africa

Vote for Nawiri Group: 2025 World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards

Go2Africa are proud to announce that, as part of the Nawiri Group, we have been nominated in the World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards, as the World's Leading Sustainable Organisation! This recognition honours the work being done across the group to craft life-changing journeys that also protect Africa's ecosystems, support communities, and contribute to a more sustainable future for travel.

One of the most important steps we've taken at Go2Africa in the last year is auditing and improving the sustainability of our entire supply chain. We are committed to working only with camps and lodges that are both sustainable and impactful. Our aim is for 100% of booked properties to have sustainability plans benefiting their ecosystems and communities.

In the absence of an industry-wide African standard, we've created our own baseline assessment based on GSTC criteria, aligned with B Corp and Travelife guidelines. This helps us measure each property's footprint and deliver truly responsible safaris. Today, more than 80% of the camps and lodges we book for our travellers meet our verified sustainability standards, and we're on track to reach 100%. That means when you travel with us, your trip is done in a sustainable way, as well as helping to conserve vital habitats, reduce emissions, and benefit local communities.

We're proud of this nomination as it reflects our ongoing commitment to becoming greener every day. As a B Corp certified company, we meet some of the world's most rigorous benchmarks for social and environmental performance, a standard we see as just the beginning of an even greater journey towards sustainable, impactful travel. Now, we'd love your support to help us bring the title of World’s Leading Sustainable Organisation home.
