Client Experience Expert

With over 15 years of experience in the travel industry, I have cultivated a deep passion for exploring the beauty and diversity of East and Southern Africa. I have the privilege of working at Go2Africa, where I channel my expertise into creating unforgettable experiences for travellers. My journey has taken me through breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cultures, and unique wildlife encounters, each shaping my understanding of what makes a trip truly special. I thrive on sharing my insights and helping others discover the wonders of this incredible region. My dedication to travel goes beyond work; it's a way of life that fuels my desire to connect people with the awe-inspiring destinations I hold dear.

Soulful Safari Reflection

Going on safaris in Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, and Zimbabwe gave me a new way to see the wildlife experience. Observing animal footprints told silent stories of their daily lives, connecting us more deeply to the rhythms of the wild. This deeper understanding of nature highlighted the intricate ecosystems and the beauty of all creatures, big and small, making each safari a rich, multi-sensory adventure.

Most Memorable Experience Organised for a Client

Organizing a birthday cake for my client in Kigali was an unforgettable experience. I wanted a special themed gorilla cake, capturing the essence of Rwanda's wildlife. After an extensive search, I found a skilled baker who understood the vision and had the expertise to execute it perfectly. With the cake design finalized, I arranged for its transport to the client’s hotel by helicopter. It was a challenging yet rewarding endeavour, and the effort truly made their birthday celebration memorable.

My Best African Travel Advice

Traveling should be an enjoyable experience, but packing can often lead to unnecessary stress. Remember that it's not about fitting your entire wardrobe into your suitcase. Instead, focus on versatility—choose a few key pieces that can be mixed and matched easily. Packing light not only reduces stress but also makes travel more convenient. Additionally, take advantage of laundry facilities available at many hotels. With the option to wash your clothes, you don't need to bring as many outfits. Instead, bring a few essentials and plan to refresh your wardrobe during your trip. This way, you'll have fresh, clean clothes without the burden of carrying excess baggage. Travelling light enhances your journey and allows you to fully enjoy new experiences!
