Denis Island, a 375-acre coral island set amid the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, is covered with lush tropical foliage and edged with powdery white beaches. The private villas are just metres from the ocean and discreetly situated among the exotic gardens with views of the turquoise waters of the ocean.
The PADI dive centre can provide diving lessons as well as diving excursions to explore the tropical waters for turtles, dolphins, and possibly whale sharks. Charter a vessel and crew to find out why Denis Island has a great reputation for deep-sea fishing, or take advantage of the many water sports facilities. Other activities include hiking along the scenic trails through the lush forests or visiting the old village with its picturesque chapel, houses dating back to 1935, and the famous lighthouse.

Beach Villa
With its own beachfront, the stylish Beach Villa includes a spacious lounge area in addition to its veranda with private plunge pool, patio, private courtyard, and generous bathroom with two outdoor showers.
Beach Cottage
Denis Island Lodge has 23 Deluxe Cottages, one Family Villa, and one Beach Villa, situated beneath the casuarinas and coconut palms of the exotic gardens.
The cottages, decorated in natural tones and textures, are infused with local Creole influence, delivering a stylish, yet natural ambience. Each of these air-conditioned, beach-side cottages has a sea-facing veranda, a private courtyard, and an outdoor shower.
There are two upgraded styles of the Beach Cottages – Deluxe Beach Cottages and Beach Front Spa Cottage – which offer more space. The Beach Front Spa Cottage has an additional wellness pavilion.
General Facilities
The library offers a quiet place to relax and read one of the many books from the shelves, while the split-level lounge is a great back to kick back with a refreshing cocktail from the bar as you look over the swimming pool. Browse through the boutique shop searching for a gift or postcard to send back to family or friends.
