Taking inspiration from nature, the camp features plenty of timber, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere when entering any room on the property. The game viewing here is exceptional. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated conservation areas in Africa, with over 25 000 animals residing in the caldera. Guests can expect to see the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo), as well as antelope, hyenas and zebras. Hiking around the crater is a great way of interacting with the untamed wilderness, which teems with a variety of flora and fauna. Entamanu’s canvas tents constructed on raised wooden decks put it in a class of safari-chic all on it’s own. Stylish wooden furnishings, faux-animal skin and fur trimmings, and authentic African artworks ensure that the camp’s four luxury rooms exceed the gold standard of what an opulent safari tent should be. The soft, calming tones of everything from the canvas walls to the eggshell white linen on the king-sized bed exude a sense of warmth and calm. The contemporary aesthetic isn’t the only key feature of the room. The deck provides breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti – an experience exclusive to the camp.

General Facilities

Entamanu's main tent is set on a raised wooden deck and set under canvas rooftops, providing an earthy and classic safari feel to your stay. The veranda offers unique, uninterrupted views of the Ngorongoro Crater on one side and the Serengeti on the other – the ideal place to unwind after a day of game drives on the crater floor. After the sun has set on the horizon, curl up under one of the faux-fur blankets with a good book from the camp's bookshelf as the stone fireplace crackles away.

The main building of Entamanu has a charming wooden and canvas dining room resembling a farm-style barnyard. The neutral shades of brown create a calm, inviting atmosphere. The area is bathed in natural light, courtesy of the large bay windows facing the verdant surroundings. Chilly mornings and cold evenings are made comfortable by the wood-burning fireplace and light blankets.
