What I really enjoyed about Kapama is that it's elevated over the plains; the wooden walkways are fantastic! Monkeys and other animals to visit and you feel totally part of the bush!

I must say, my heart still belongs to Kapama Buffalo Camp. There is just something special about the place and I can't put my finger on it. In Hawaii, we called it ”ohana”, a feeling of family. The genuine welcome and warmth just created a special atmosphere that both my friends felt as well.

the 4 days at Kapama Game Reserve was very enjoyable with lots of down time for reading, napping and relationship enhancing opportunities. The guides were very pleasant and accommodating and the chef was very good; I ate too much. The wildlife was a little harder to find at Kapama, a much larger reserve, but we were able to see eveything except the leopard, which rarely is seen. I don’t think they have a leopard in residence but sometimes one passes through.

Lovely accommodation, great food, friendly staff, great game drives. We did feel that it was a bit tough on the guides having to serve us at meal times, we would have preferred them to sit and eat with us as they did at N’Kaya and N’Korho.
