What I really enjoyed about Kapama is that it's elevated over the plains; the wooden walkways are fantastic! Monkeys and other animals to visit and you feel totally part of the bush!

"We just returned from our trip. We loved it! The camp was just what we like and the staff were all real professional and made everything work well.I thank you for your great option and look forward to returning again on a game reserve."

the 4 days at Kapama Game Reserve was very enjoyable with lots of down time for reading, napping and relationship enhancing opportunities. The guides were very pleasant and accommodating and the chef was very good; I ate too much. The wildlife was a little harder to find at Kapama, a much larger reserve, but we were able to see eveything except the leopard, which rarely is seen. I don't think they have a leopard in residence but sometimes one passes through.

"Lovely accommodation, great food, friendly staff, great game drives. We did feel that it was a bit tough on the guides having to serve us at meal times, we would have preferred them to sit and eat with us as they did at N'Kaya and N'Korho."

The food in both Buffalo Camp and River Lodge were fantastic - we must have added 5 kgs each!! It was too cold in the night, would be good to have better heaters than was provided. My biggest disappointment was the rangers in buffalo camp - they see med to have no respect for nature and the animals - treated them as pets rather than natural creatures in whose habitat we are guests in - they constantly tried to prod and disturb animals just so we can have a look at them. they tried to prod and disturb a unique rodent (pengalin) just so it will come out so people can take pictures - this was shocking for me as i am used to very considerate folks Kenya who treat the bush as a temple.

"If there was one part of the trip that we were disappointed in it was the Kapama Buffalo Camp but we realize that our experience at Tanda Tula tainted our opinion of that camp."
