Set in pristine wilderness, the Busanga is often referred to as the ‘mini-Serengeti’. It is home to 158 mammal species, including puku, lechwe, wildebeest, roan antelope, buffalo, elephant, an abundance of hippo. Predator sightings are particularly exceptional with the likes of lion, leopard, cheetah and the endangered wild dog. More than 491 species of birds also make it a top destination for avid birdwatchers.
