The Kasonso Busanga, located right in the heart of the Zambian Busanga Plains, serves as a prime game viewing area. It’s ideal for those seeking authentic wildlife encounter experiences. Set in pristine wilderness, the Busanga is often referred to as the ‘mini-Serengeti’. It is home to 158 mammal species, including puku, lechwe, wildebeest, roan antelope, buffalo, elephant, an abundance of hippo. Predator sightings are particularly exceptional with the likes of lion, leopard, cheetah and the endangered wild dog. More than 491 species of birds also make it a top destination for avid birdwatchers.
