Standard Tent

Accommmodation at Mara Camp is in Meru-style tents that are both spacious and comfortable as well as bug-proof.

Each suite has an en suite bathroom (with a shower and an enclosed flush toilet) and a private veranda, equipped with deck chairs and from where you can enjoy lovely views and armchair game viewing or birding.

The tents are widely spaced apart to ensure privacy and come with thoughtful extras like gumboots for the rainy seasons and a washing line for your personal laundry.

Triple- and quadruple-bed tents are available for families or small groups travelling together.

Kicheche Mara Camp offers convenient facilities to ensure an authentic and comfortable East African safari.

Between game-viewing activities, you can relax in the spacious lounge tent and page through the many interesting reference books. You can also browse through the safari shop for a souvenir to take back home.

There is limited Wi-Fi connectivity in the communal areas.

Kicheche Mara Camp offers Western-style meals deliciously fused with African flavours, enjoyed in the spacious dining tent or taken alfresco in a clearing away from camp and overlooking the Masai Mara.

The chef will also cater for special dietary requirements on request.

Kicheche Mara Camp

William Watkins

We liked the philosophy of the camp, whereby they try to employ local people, someone from each family, to spread the money around. They are also aware of their footprints on the land, as were other camps. Amboseli was great, too, and its staff parti cularly good.
