Overview of Musekese Camp

Zambia, Kafue National Park

Just a short boat ride from the Lufupa Airstrip, Musekese Camp is the ideal choice for families or small groups in search of an authentic safari experience. The camp is in the heart of Kafue National Park, perched along a low ridge that overlooks a lagoon. Kafue is Zambia's oldest and largest national park, an icon that is home to some of Africa's most sought-after wildlife.

The park is well known for its commendable conservation initiatives, increasing the quality of wildlife over the last two decades.  Leopards and lions generously grace the landscape, while the basin of the lagoon is a regular spot for herds of elephants passing by the camp. Multiple species of birds and plains game can be spotted around the camp, offering the perfect ‘armchair safari'.

Safaris at Musekese are as diverse as the landscape itself. Spend your time wandering beneath colossal ancient trees on walking safaris, intimately acquainting you with the sights and sounds of the bush, or venture further on classic game drives. For the more adventurous, canoe safaris (dependant on water levels) are a unique way to connect with the wild and its inhabitants
