Nyasi (meaning 'grass') is one of two migrational camps operated by Legendary Expeditions in the Serengeti National Park. These mobile camps move between four locations during different times of the year, following the Great Migration. This gives you front-row seats to our planet's greatest wildlife phenomenon, no matter what time of the year you visit the Serengeti.
Nyasi moves with the Wildebeest Migration, spending June to October on the Lamai savannah in the far northern corner of the Serengeti, and December to March on the grassy plains of the south. All guests at this intimate camp get private safari vehicles and guides, ensuring an exclusive safari experience at your own pace. Nyasi also provides the option of making half the camp a private area for travellers who desire exclusive-use facilities - ideal for families with children.
Go on daily game drives and guided walking safaris to track the Serengeti's big game, or spot-lit night drives to discover Africa's nocturnal creatures like honey badgers, genets and civets. Not only will you be privileged to see the Great Wildebeest Migration's mega-herds, you'll also savour meaningful interactions with a local Maasai tribe.
Although Nyasi comprises traditional canvas tents, you'll be far from roughing it on your Serengeti safari. Elegantly furnished and decorated, this camp will completely immerse you in nature while not sacrificing comforts like en suite bathrooms, king-sized beds and private dining.
