Nyasi Tented Camp

Nyasi (meaning ‘grass’) Tented Camp is operated by Legendary Expeditions in the grasslands of Serengeti National Park renowned for one of our planet’s greatest wildlife phenomenon, the Great Migration.

Nyasi experiences the herds of the Wildebeest Migration from approximately June to October. However, with its location on the Lamai savannah in the far northern corner of the Serengeti, you can expect superb game viewing throughout the year. All guests at this intimate camp get private safari vehicles and guides, ensuring an exclusive safari experience at your own pace. Nyasi also provides the option of making half the camp a private area for travellers who desire exclusive-use facilities – ideal for families with children.

Go on daily game drives and guided walking safaris to track the Serengeti’s big game, or spot-lit night drives to discover Africa’s nocturnal creatures like honey badgers, genets and civets. Not only will you be privileged to see the Great Wildebeest Migration’s mega-herds, you’ll also savour meaningful interactions with a local Maasai tribe.
