Situated at the base of Chapman’s Peak and perched above the Atlantic Ocean, Tintswalo Atlantic offers a luxurious retreat with uninterrupted ocean views. Ideal for romantics looking to be surrounded by nature but still have easy access to Cape Town, the lodge is built to blend seamlessly with the environment.

Take a stroll down the pebbled beach in front of the lodge or on the nearby sandy main beach in the quaint fishing town of Hout Bay. With Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno just around the corner, there are a variety of excellent beaches to choose from. Located about a 25-minute drive from Cape Town's city centre, this boutique lodge is the perfect base from which to explore all that this dynamic city has to offer.

Tintswalo’s ten Island Suites have been individually decorated in homage to ten of the world’s most exotic islands (complete with wood-burning fireplaces), and the staff are renowned for their friendly and discreet service. A spacious two-bedroom suite is also available, which comprises two Island Suites joined by a luxurious living area. During whale season (about July to September), you may even be lucky enough to spot southern right whales from the seaside deck!

Two Bedroom Luxury Suite

This spacious unit comprises two Island Suites connected by a sitting room, all with fireplaces. It can sleep four guests.

Island Suite

Each of the ten Island Suites have been individually decorated to reflect one of the world’s most beautiful islands. They all have en suite bathrooms, balconies with ocean views and wood-burning fireplaces.

General Facilities

The lounge area features deep sofas and comfortable chairs and offers a wonderful place to relax after dinner, as you enjoy a drink from the bar.

Take a stroll through the wine cellar to view the extensive range of local wines on offer.

The long wooden deck offers the most magnificent views of the ocean and is a great place to enjoy a meal, take in the sunset with a refreshing drink, or unwind in the heated swimming pool with a glass of bubbly.

Spa treatments and Wi-Fi are available, and Tintswalo Atlantic has its own vehicle for daily excursions or transfers.

At Tintswalo Atlantic, all meals are catered to your needs and preferences, and the chefs are more than happy to cook according to your personal tastes. The dining room is elegant and spacious, but you can also dine on the outside deck or the privacy of your suite. The kitchen is open to the dining room, allowing you to sit at the bar and watch as the chefs prepare your special meal. Alternatively, a full breakfast, set lunch and dinner are also available, and you can even request a packed breakfast if you feel like heading out on an early morning excursion.

Lunch consists of two courses and dinner of three. Beach picnics can be arranged on request.
