Where to Go Gorilla Trekking

Western lowland gorillas are found in the primeval forests of the Congo; the world's last 700 or so mountain gorillas live in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. Professionally guided treks into the rainforest seek out these gentle giants at ease in their natural environment. Gorillas live in close-knit family groups and exhibit much of our human family affections and many of our emotional gestures, like delight, surprise and irritation.
