Based in Nairobi, Kenya, I have worked in the travel industry for 19 years. I am most alive when crafting tailor-made, off-the-beaten-track, and luxury itineraries, occasionally getting to go on them myself! 

I revel in getting to know my clients and understanding what will work for them, meeting and exceeding their expectations, making their travel dreams a reality. I have loved exploring new destinations and have a special love for birds and plants. Being born and raised in Kenya, hospitality is ingrained in my culture, and welcoming guests with open arms is not only what I have been raised to do, but a skill I have honed.  

Soulful Safari Reflection  

After a few action-packed nights in Samburu National Reserve, we were disappointed to be leaving and while making our way out of the park, were greeted by a most unexpected sight. It has remained the most remarkable for me to date, a pair of Aardwolves' mating right in the middle of the road, in complete daylight!   

Most Memorable Experience Organised For a Client 

I curated a vow renewal ceremony for a couple, right by the sandy river in Westgate, Samburu, complete with a blessing from a Samburu elder. To celebrate, they took to the skies the following day by helicopter to discover some beautiful and remote landscapes, stretching all the way to Lake Turkana.   

My Best African Travel Advice  

Occasionally, put the camera down. Often, we are focused on capturing all the moments and forget to be in the moment. The iconic sunsets, birds chirping, the warm African hospitality – take time to soak in all that mother nature offers you.
