Family Tent

A family tent which comprises a double and a twin room.

The camp's swimming pool offers welcome relief from the heat of the day and the spacious lounge and dining area are ideal for a spot of relaxation.

Enjoy a drink from the bar while taking in the beauty of your surroundings or an interesting read in the thatched library.

Camp Kalahari offers its guests various dining experiences ranging from picnic breakfasts on the vast salt pans to tasty lunches served in camp; best of all however are the barbecue dinners that begin as dusk settles after a long and rewarding day.

The camp's expert chef might just prepare his one-of-a-kind 'Pilli-Pilli Ho-Ho' for you - a lethal blend of chillies marinated in sherry and gin which you are sure to remember long after you've returned home.

Camp Kalahari

Denise Finney

"Camp Kalahari created lifetime memories. The quad biking and view of those stars was breathtaking. How they created such wonderful meals in the middle of no where was quite amazing. The Meerkats were also a top attraction."

The sleep out was actually the first night and on Kev’s birthday. It was a exceptionally fantastic night for sure, especially because the entire thing was a surprise – thank you so much for recommending this place to us!! I think this was probably the most amazing night of the entire trip to be honest and there were many amazing things!!

Camp Kalahari was our favourite of the holiday. Everyone over there was lovely, warm, welcoming and we had a great time - although it was very very warm over there (around 44 C in the shade). The food was brilliant, it was soooo delicious. What we re ally appreciated was the more personal yet still very professional approach - not like camps which have over 20 tents for example. We got to meet & greet the meerkats, which was a great experience :)
