Situated within the Timbavati Nature Reserve – sharing an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park – Motswari Private Game Reserve offers an intimate, elegant safari experience. Ideal for romantics and honeymooners, this family-owned and operated lodge brings a personal touch to your safari experience, and a welcoming, exclusive stay.
Accommodating no more than 30 guests at a time, the lodge is a natural haven and ideally located to search for Africa’s Big 5 on morning and afternoon game drives. Also keep an eye out for African wild dog, cheetah and more than 350 different bird species. Other activities include guided walking safaris, sunrise and sunset game drives, and overnight walking safaris.

Luxury Bungalow
The 15 luxuriously appointed bungalows are spacious and elegantly furnished to provide a comfortable, private place to relax without being removed from nature. Large windows allow natural light in and afford you with beautiful views over the surrounding bush.
Each double suite has a 4-poster bed with mosquito netting, sitting area, and writing desk, as well as air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and two separate wash basins.

Motswari has two fully licensed bars where you can relax with a drink after a long day in the bush, drinking in the beautiful surroundings and sharing stories.
