Nyasirori Tented Camp

A prime location in a private concession the western Serengeti means that Nyasirori Tented Camp is especially well placed for the dramatic April to July months when migrating wildebeest arrive in the area to cross crocodile-infested rivers such as the infamous Grumeti. However, such is the wealth of wildlife in this corner of the Serengeti that you will enjoy excellent year-round game sightings.

Nyasirori Tented Camp is a small and intimate accommodation. There are only six tented suites and the focus here is on the wildlife experience: you sit back on morning and afternoon game drives with expert guides as you explore the teeming savannah. Most game viewing is enjoyed from the elevated vantage of a 4X4 but there is also the chance to go on guided nature walks, too, a great way to see the Serengeti from a different perspective. Spot-lit night drives on the concession add to the drama and there is optional hot-air ballooning available.

It is a suitable accommodation for returning safari travellers, wilderness lovers and even adventurous families (children of all ages are welcome at Nyasirori). The standard of guiding is very high and you enjoy comforts such as electric lighting, battery-recharging stations and Wi-Fi access.
