Simbavati Amani is a contemporary safari villa situated in the heart of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Klaserie is part of the greater Kruger National Park and one of the biggest privately owned nature reserves in South Africa, covering about 60 000 hectares (148 260 acres) of pristine wilderness.

While staying at Simbavati Amani, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Klaserie in search of the Big 5 (elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion and leopard), other iconic animals like kudu, wild dog and giraffe, plus over 360 recorded bird species including various eagles, vultures, kingfishers, buzzards and owls. Amani provides a private safari vehicle with a dedicated field guide and tracker, enabling you to embrace the African bush at your own pace. Twice-daily game drives are par for the course, and you can enjoy special activities like walking safaris and spotting nocturnal animals on night drives.

This private villa offers a variety of areas that are designed for guest relaxation ­– whether that’s under the shady canopy of a tree or poolside with a refreshing drink in hand. The property is also built next to a very busy watering hole, which means you’ll be able to enjoy some game viewing without having to leave camp. The villa is fenced, making it ideal for families with children of all ages.

Exclusive Use

Amani can accommodate up to eight guests in four luxurious suites, each with its own private entrance and views of the gardens or the greater Kruger. The rooms have lounge areas, are air-conditioned, and feature en suite bathrooms with double vanities, baths and showers. Guests have the option of one king bed or two single beds per suite, each romantically draped with frothy mosquito nets.

This thatched villa is double volume and features two spacious lounge areas and an entertainment area with an extensive deck, infinity pool, open-air bar and large dining area. A cosy boma provides a lovely ambience while enjoying your meals under the stars.
