Begin with Leroo La Tau, nestled on the tall banks of the Boteti River and overlooking the Makgadikgadi National Park beyond that. This region is famous for seasonal zebra and wildebeest migrations and its unique desert eco-system, forming part of the Kalahari Basin. Next is the renowned and enchanting Okavango Delta. Camp Okavango, a classic Okavango Delta camp, offers a year-round water wilderness experience.
Conclude your journey in the Chobe region, staying at Chobe Game Lodge. Positioned on the banks of the Chobe River, expect spectacular wildlife viewing, including the largest concentration of elephants in Africa during the dry season.

Itinerary
Day to day
On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met and assisted through the check-in process for your small plane transfer to your first stop, Leroo La Tau. Nestled beside Botswana’s Boteti River with a backdrop of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Leroo La Tau provides a captivating wildlife experience. The region is known for seasonal zebra and wildebeest gatherings during the migration months between November and May, as well as year-round sightings of predators.
You have two nights here and on your full day you will have the opportunity of heading into the National Park for a guided game drive. Depending on the day, lunch will either be out in the reserve or back at camp. Take some time after lunch to relax, cool off in the pool and catch a quick snooze before high tea and your afternoon activities. Your day ends with a memorable sundowner as the sun sets. Evenings at the camp feature fireside storytelling and convivial dinners. After a rewarding day, retire to your comfortable tent, serenaded by the Kalahari night sounds.
After a last morning at Leroo La Tau and breakfast overlooking the Boteti River, it’s back to the airstrip for your next flight to the waterways of the Okavango Delta! For the next two nights, you’ll be staying at a camp that has been delighting guests for many years, Camp Okavango.
The camp is located on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta, Africa’s dubbed ‘Garden of Eden’. Its location on a permanent water channel in the delta makes this a year-round water wilderness experience, and you can explore this watery paradise by mokoro (fiberglass canoes based on a traditional dugout design) or by motorboat, depending on water levels.
The main lodge features a cosy lounge to gather or relax in, a curio shop for souvenir shopping, a wildlife reference library so that you can get to know the fauna and flora around you, a swimming pool to refresh and a well-stocked bar for refreshments. No matter where you decide to relax, you’ll always have expansive views out over the delta.
After another superb breakfast, it’s back to the skies for another scenic air transfer, taking you from the lush green waterways of the Okavango to the game-rich Chobe region. Upon landing at Kasane Airport, you’ll be met for your road transfer to Chobe Game Lodge, located right on the banks of the Chobe River in Botswana’s renowned Chobe National Park.
Chobe boasts Africa’s largest single concentration of elephants, attracting herds that swell along the fertile floodplains, especially during the dry season from June to October. This abundant ecosystem isn’t just an elephant haven but also a prime destination to spot lions, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles. Additionally, Chobe’s birdwatching ranks among Southern Africa’s finest, offering a diverse avian spectacle.
With the lodge’s riverside position, you can also expect to enjoy water activities during your two-night stay. Small motorboats provide an intimate view of the wildlife, while a leisurely sunset cruise aboard a larger riverboat is an iconic Chobe adventure. Especially in the wet season, when the river is wide and feels endless. Game drives into the park are all done on open-top electric game viewers, which ensures minimal disturbance to the wildlife and a reduced carbon footprint.
Savour a last breakfast on the river’s edge before packing up and meeting your driver for your road transfer to Kasane Airport, where you’ll continue your journey onward.
