3-Day Johannesburg to Londolozi Safari
Set within the world-renowned Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, Londolozi Varty Camp places you in the heart of one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife regions. Known for its extraordinary Big Five sightings and frequent encounters with wild dogs and other endangered species, Sabi Sands offers an unrivalled safari experience. This two-night add-on is an effortless escape—fly directly from Johannesburg to the reserve's airstrip by light aircraft, making it easy to combine with other highlights like Cape Town, Botswana, Victoria Falls, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.
Varty Camp is a luxurious, wellness-focused haven built into the leafy canopy, offering privacy, comfort, and a strong connection to nature. With beautifully spacious suites, daily game drives, guided nature walks, yoga sessions, and even photography opportunities, the experience is as enriching as it is unforgettable.
Ideal for honeymooners seeking a romantic escape, the camp also caters brilliantly to families. With a dedicated children's programme, it promises adventure, learning, and magical memories that will have younger travellers talking about their African safari for years to come.

It was wonderful to go back to Londolozi and spend three nights in that luxurious lodge.
At Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport, you'll connect with a light aircraft flight with Federal Air to the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve—an exclusive area that shares an unfenced border with the Greater Kruger National Park. Upon arrival at the reserve's airstrip, a driver will be waiting to transfer you to Londolozi Varty Camp. Set along the banks of the Sand River, this is the original Londolozi camp, deeply rooted in decades of conservation heritage and a genuine love for the wilderness.
Varty Camp offers an immersive and restorative safari experience. Raised wooden decks and shaded thatched living areas invite you to slow down and watch wildlife drift past, while the swimming pool, spa treatments, and well-stocked library provide plenty of ways to unwind between game drives. Twice-daily safaris and optional bush walks bring you close to iconic species like lion, leopard, elephant, and rhino, guided by some of the best trackers in the region. Meanwhile, younger guests can explore nature through the hands-on Cub's Programme, making this an experience that's as enriching for families as it is for couples.
