Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International, a driver awaits you at the arrivals terminal for a road transfer to Hemingways Nairobi, a 5-star hotel. It is located on a spacious property with immaculate symmetrical gardens and plantation style architecture, in the quaint Karen suburb.

You'll have only one night here before your safari tour begins, and depending on your arrival time, you may opt to book a half-day tour and explore the city. Experience a traditional Bead Market, stroll through the manicured gardens at the Karen Blixen Museum, and pay a visit to the long-necked beauties at the Giraffe Centre.

At the end of the day, enjoy a memorable meal on the Brasserie terrace with breathtaking views of the sun setting over the trees. Whether you pick a delicious seafood dish, wholesome pasta or soup, each meal is well paired with a selection of fine wines.

After breakfast, a road transfer will take you to Wilson Airport for a flight to Lewa Downs Airstrip. Upon landing, a friendly guide will drive you to your first three nights of safari at the grand Lewa Wilderness Lodge. Embrace the welcoming warmth of a crackling fireplace in your thatched cottage.

Situated in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, on 62,000 acres of private concession, the lodge offers an exclusive gateway to the region’s wild landscapes. You'll explore the depths of the reserve’s acacia woodlands on foot and traverse the open grasslands in a game vehicle, searching for the endangered Grevy's zebra and rare black rhino.

Panoramic aerial tours also offer a unique vantage point from which to enjoy these ever-changing landscapes in a vintage biplane. As a proud conservation area, you can also get a chance to walk alongside the heroic anti-poaching dogs who protect the diverse wildlife and visit the locals at the charming Ngwesi village.

Back at the lodge, you can delight in a fun game of tennis or a refreshing dip in the lodge's salt-water infinity pool, followed by indulgent meals enjoyed in the ambiance of the African wilderness out in the open-air dining room.

The next morning, a short road transfer will take you to nearby Olepangi, where you'll spend three nights in the private embrace of uniquely designed and spacious cottages.

A typical day starts easy with an energising breakfast that combines homemade yogurt with fresh fruits and delicious honey sourced from the local beehive. Yoga sessions can be enjoyed on the deck overlooking the lush 120 acres of well-maintained homestead.

As a working farmland, you'll be invited to join the workers in their daily tasks. You can experience the novelty of milking cows or assist in gathering herbs from the organic garden. The seasoned chefs are also ready to teach you how to make delicious, melt-in-your-mouth bread topped with home-churned butter that melts on the warmth of freshly baked loaves.

Laid-back afternoons can be spent riding horses in the paddock or touring the pristine gardens for an informative look at the farm’s sustainable practices. You can also choose to spoil yourself with pampering beauty treatments, including relaxing massages or pretty pedicures. Before you rest for the night, sit by the crackling fireplace and delight in the artisanal cuisine lovingly prepared from the day’s organic bounty.

After a final morning in Laikipia County, a road transfer will take you to Nanyuki Airstrip for an air transfer to Naboisho Conservancy airstrip. Another road transfer will then take you to your last three nights at the exclusive Naboisho Camp. Located in a private concession that shares an unfenced border with Kenya's famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, the camp offers unfettered access for free-roaming wildlife.

Day trips include adventure game drives and guided walking safaris through the reserve’s picturesque savanna plains. Evenings will bring spotlit game drives for a chance to seek out nocturnal creatures; the reserve is well-known as a haven for big cats. On an alternate evening, enjoy stargazing on a comfy daybed out on your private veranda for secluded sundowners.

For an additional charge, you can experience a once-in-a-lifetime aerial safari, traversing the skies in a hot-air balloon. Hold your breath as you marvel at the glory of the Maasai Mara, witnessing the thunderous stampedes of millions of wildebeest crossing the open grasslands that takes place from July to November.
