Detailed breakdown

Days 1-2: Explore the Chobe River | 2 Nights

Up arrow
Savuti, Botswana

Arrive in Botswana and transfer to Savute Under Canvs, an intimate tented safari camp in the Savute region of the Chobe National Park. Located in the centre of the park, Savute is an area long associated with up-close elephant viewing, lion/hyena conflict and an abundance of predators. It's a region that now has more water than before and the game viewing is some of the best in Southern Africa.

In the green summer months, you'll also have the opportunity to see the awe-inspiring sight of the annual zebra migration, and the bird watching - normally great - becomes excellent.

The camp offers twice daily game drives accompanied by a knowledgeable and experienced safari guide.

Days 3-5: Spend time in the Okavango Delta | 3 Nights

Today you will leave Chobe and transfer by light scheduled aircraft to the Okavango Delta where you will stay for the next three nights.

Your accommodation is Sandibe Lodge, situated on the banks of a permanent channel in the southern delta and offering spectacular views. Spend the next few days relaxing beside the swimming pool, going on 4x4 game drives - you'll enjoy great game viewing and superb birdwatching.

The fact that Sandibe is located in a private concession also means that you will be able to go on guided nature walks and exciting night drives, two activities that will add great value to your safari experience.
