After landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to Legendary Lodge. This boutique style lodge is set on a working coffee plantation in the foothills of Mount Meru. It's the gateway to the northern safari circuit in Tanzania. Built in the 1900's, the lodge began as a coffee estate and has evolved into a retreat for guests seeking a reminder of a bygone era.

This is the perfect way to ease you into your safari. You can wander or cycle through the plantation and gardens, visit the recreation centre and spa, or play some tennis or squash. The service is gracious and welcoming and the food sublime – it's an enviable atmosphere of calm and tranquility.
