On arrival at Ivato International Airport, you will be transferred to Maison Gallieni for your first night in Madagascar. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool or take a leisurely stroll through the surrounding lush gardens. Your first night is topped off with panoramic views of the colourful city, including sights of the Faravohitra Cathedral and rolling hillsides. Sip on a cocktail, and later, indulge in a homemade, delectable meal in the spacious dining hall.

After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to Mantadia Lodge for your next two nights. Your guide will lead you on a cultural tour of the city before you embark on your first safari adventure. A stop at Tana's Rova (also known as the Queen's Palace) will treat you to views of traditional Malagasy architecture from the city’s peak.
During the four-hour drive to your next destination, enjoy views of highland landscapes and local villages. At Peyrieras Butterfly Farm, you’ll have the chance to meet fascinating critters. Your first night in Andasibe wraps up with a check-in at Mantadia Lodge, followed by a moonlit walk through the majestic Mitsinjo Reserve rainforest.
On your next morning, an early brisk hike will take you through the primary forest of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, allowing you to immerse yourself in the fresh sounds and scents of nature. Navigate the thick woodland with its hundreds of orchids and diverse wildlife. On your way to the luxury 4-star hotel, enjoy a leisurely hike through the evergreen forest of the Analamazaotra Special Reserve. Under the canopy of towering trees ranging from 16m to 30m in height, surrounded by dense vegetation and steep slopes, you’ll spot the indigenous ‘Indri Indri' lemur frolicking along the trail. A less intensive stroll through the Vakona Reserve will highlight the freshwater surrounds of this island where you get to meet more lemurs and see if you can spot some crocodiles.

You'll make the most of your stay here with guided walks through the rich landscapes of Madagascar.
