On your second day in Rwanda, you'll visit the city centre before embarking on a guided tour of the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you'll gain insight into the events leading up to and during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. A road transfer will then take you to Singita Kwitonda, where you'll be met by your driver for the next few days.

You'll spend three nights at Singita Kwitonda, and on your first full day, you'll embark on a gorilla trek through Volcanoes National Park. You'll have the opportunity to be an explorer for the day while navigating these misty forests, a once-in-a-lifetime experience led by expert field guides from the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, a scientific organization dedicated to conservation efforts in the forests and the gentle giants that inhabit it.

Back at basecamp, opt for a rejuvenating massage to soothe your aching muscles after a long day of hiking through dense and steep terrain. This is offered to you either in the comfort of your private lodgings or on an outdoor deck overlooking the reserve.
