Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a private driver awaits to take you to your one-night stay at the five-star Hemingways Nairobi — a sanctuary of quiet sophistication. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore some of the city's cultural highlights, including the historic Karen Blixen Museum, wandering the grounds of her original homestead — the setting that inspired her storied legacy, Out of Africa. Nairobi National Park is a not-to-be-missed stopover — the world's most unique reserve, where wildlife sightings unfold against a majestic city skyline.

Throughout your stay, you're treated to morning and afternoon safaris in an electric game vehicle, designed to reduce the camp's carbon footprint. As one of Africa's most wildlife-rich regions, you'll have the opportunity to spot the Big Five, including lions and leopards quietly stalking their prey. 

Although rhinos are a rarer sighting, protected areas are home to black rhinos, while elephants and buffalo traverse the plains in search of prime grazing spots. Enjoy nature walks around the campsite, marvelling at rivers dotted with hippos and crocodiles.

For adventure-seekers, aerial safaris are available to book – an afternoon in a hot-air balloon offers a bird's-eye view of the seasonal Great Migration. On horseback safaris, explore the savannahs at a gentle, rhythmic pace that invites quiet, undisturbed wildlife viewing.

Head back to the skies for a flight to Seronera Airstrip. Spend three nights at the stylish Namiri Plains Camp embraced by the solitude of the Serengeti.  Here, wild cats rule the plains and offer unforgettable wildlife viewing for guests.

Your second night promises an evening of conservational insights. Visit the Serengeti Cheetah Project with their years of dedication to monitoring the bird and survival rates of cheetahs in the region. Their great work contributes to the thriving rates of big cats in the area. 

Open vehicle game drives will bring you closer to spotting hyenas travelling in their packs and zebra herds dotted along the plains with the iconic silhouettes of acacia trees. The next day, fly to Lake Manyara for three nights at The Highlands Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Perched on the highest point of the Olmoti Crater, the camp offers an extraordinary vantage, with domed tents featuring floor-to-ceiling faceted windows that frame breathtaking views of distant volcanic mountains and forested hillsides.

On your first full day, fuel up with a hearty breakfast and coffee on the deck, in eager anticipation of your full-day tour of the Ngorongoro Crater. Acclaimed as the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, the crater floor promises thrilling game drives where you may spot black rhino and other Big Five wildlife.

The following day, lace up your hiking boots and trek to the lesser-known Empakaai Crater, where pink flamingos huddle across the lake. Round off your experience with a tranquil picnic lunch before returning to the camp for sundowners on the deck.

Here, you're invited to slow your pace with long walks along the beachfront, or unwind in a hammock with a fruity cocktail in hand, soaking up the sun.
