Day 2-3: Meet the Gentle Giants of Bwindi | 3 Nights

Wake up to the sounds of twittering birds before enjoying a delicious full English breakfast and heading back to Entebbe International Airport to catch your scheduled flight to Kihihi airstrip. From Kihihi, you’ll be met by a guide and driven to the charming Buhoma Lodge. A late afternoon arrival ensures that you have plenty of time to rest before your unforgettable Gorilla trek the next day.
Day three kicks of with a hearty breakfast prepared using local produce and enjoyed with sweeping view of your breathtaking surroundings. Then it’s off to spend the day trekking through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas who call. The up-close encounter you’ll have with these gentle giants is truly lifechanging – trust us, you’ll feel it the moment you stare deep into their expressive brown eyes.

Day 4: Day of leisure

After gorilla trekking through Bwindi’s rainforest, you can recoup with a day of leisure at Buhoma Lodge. Day 5: Back to Entebbe

Wake up to the tranquil sounds of nature and enjoy one last breakfast at Buhoma Lodge before the drive back to the Kihihi Airstrip for your light aircraft flight back to Entebbe. Before you bid farewell to Africa, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to The Boma Hotel Entebbe (just a few minutes’ drive from the airport) for lunch. After a delicious meal, you’ll be driven to Entebbe International Airport to depart for home or head to your next destination.
