Day 1: Iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru | 1 Night

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your driver for a scenic road transfer to Arusha and your sanctuary for the night - Legendary Lodge. Set on a wonderfully fragrant working coffee bean plantation with lush, tropical gardens alive with an array of colourful bird species.

The hotel has a host of outings and comforts perfect for unwinding from a long flight. If you arrive early, head out to a nearby estate for a coffee tour and tasting. You can also visit a market in town, explore the gardens, or just sit back and relax at the hotel pool.


Days 2-4: Tarangire National Park | 2 Nights

Savour a scrumptious breakfast at Legendary Lodge after which your driver will transfer you to Arusha Airport for a scenic flight over the Rift Valley Escarpment to Manyara Airstrip. Your first game drive begins on your transfer from the airstrip to your next home base–Chem Chem Lodge.

Chem Chem Lodge is situated in a wildlife corridor teeming with game, between two key parks— the Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. Day 5: Travel to Ngorongoro

A driver will transfer you back to the airstrip where a representative from the next lodge will wait to meet you for a scenic road transfer through farmlands and coffee plantations to Ngorongoro Conservation area. This is where you'll begin the ascent up the steep, forested wall of the extinct volcano crater until you reach the peak. Here you will encounter one of the most breath-taking views. Perched on the rim of this remarkable natural amphitheatre of wildlife is Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, which will be your home for two nights.

Your day begins with a steaming cup of coffee as the sun softly warms the horizon. Thanks to the lodge's prime position, descend to the crater floor earlier than most for the best game viewing. In this diverse, scenic and game-rich wildlife haven you can spot the Big 5, including the rare black rhino and witness storied safari scenes. After an unforgettable and fulfilling day out in the crater, return to the lodge to a warm welcome from the staff, who will have the camp fire going and some drinks and snacks to tide you over till dinner.

Day 6: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater | 3 Nights

Savour another leisurely breakfast overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater before descending the crater wall back to the Manyara Airstrip for an exciting flight taking off over the escarpment edge to your next destination—the legendary Serengeti. On the north-west corner of the Serengeti is Singita Faru Faru Lodge, within the Singita Grumeti Private Reserve, where you will stay for the rest of the trip.

Singita Faru Faru epitomises luxury in the Serengeti. Its prime positioning within a private reserve provides exclusivity uncommon in the Serengeti. Its proximity to the action of the Great Migration, when the herds are on their journey through Northern Serengeti, allows fast access to the legendary scenes of the wildebeest herds. Not to be missed is the thrilling opportunity to add on a hot-air balloon safari. Day 7-9: Explore the wildlife of the Serengeti
