This exclusive and richly-rewarding 12-day South African journey begins in the beautiful city of Cape Town where you’ll enjoy the luxury of the landmark Cape Grace Hotel, set at the heart of the ever-popular V&A Waterfront.

You’ll have plenty of time in Cape Town to do everything that you want to do before travelling by private transfer to the breathtakingly scenic Cape Winelands and the world-famous Le Quartier Francais where superb gourmet dining and wine tasting await.

Then it’s time to change gear and fly north to big game country: head for the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve and Dulini River Lodge where a classic Big 5 safari will prove to be the perfect ending to this diverse and activity-packed journey. It’s also a package that will combine easily with a tropical beach holiday in Mozambique or KwaZulu Natal – simply ask us how.

Day to day

Your exclusive South African journey begins today as you are met and driven via private transfer to the luxurious Cape Grace, a world-class hotel situated at the heart of the V&A Waterfront. After settling in, enjoy a leisurely drink on the terrace and soak up the views or set off to explore: the Waterfront is on your doorstep and Cape Town city centre a short drive away.

The next three days are yours to explore Cape Town. Hire your own car or arrange private transfers from The Cape Grace and visit Cape Point Nature Reserve, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the beautiful Constantia Winelands.

Other Cape Town highlights include the ferry ride to and tour of historical Robben Island, Table Mountain (hike up to the top or take the cable car), world-class shopping and gourmet restaurants.

Adventure is also never far away in Cape Town: there’s great hiking, shark-cage diving, abseiling and even kite-surfing on offer, and if it all gets too much, simply head for one of the city’s famous beaches such as Camps Bay or Clifton and kick back on a sunny day.
