Day to day
Fly into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, where you will pick up your private vehicle for your trip along the Panorama Route.
Drive through beautiful scenery on your way to Lion Sands River Lodge, located in the exclusive Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park.
Here you spend the next four nights in luxury, exploring the tangled bush environment and enjoying exciting morning, afternoon and early evening game drives in one of Africa’s best game-viewing destinations. Keep your eyes open for leopards as the Sabi Sand is well-known for frequent sightings of these agile beauties.
You can also take a day trip into the world-renowned Kruger National Park to continue your search for Africa’s Big 5 or just relax in your spacious suite, laze beside the swimming pool and enjoy the views.
After breakfast, take the scenic drive back to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to catch your flight to OR Tambo International Airport. From here, you will fly to Vilanculos International Airport, in time for your connecting helicopter transfer to the Bazaruto Archipelago. Your accommodation for the next five nights is Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort & Spa, which is surrounded by dense tropical gardens.
Anantara offers a huge range of activities, so there is plenty to see and do. Of course, you could just settle back on your daybed on the beach and look out at the sea over the pages of a dog-eared novel.
After experiencing a diverse array of different environments, a helicopter transfer will deposit you back Vilanculos International Airport in time to fly back to OR Tambo International Airport in South Africa, feeling refreshed and revitalised.
