On your arrival, you will be met at Cape Town International Airport and transferred to the Welgelegen House, Set in the fashionable city neighbourhood of Gardens.

Welgelegen House is Victorian-era guesthouse with an African twist. This beautiful boutique guesthouse provides a sanctuary from the bustle of the city. Settle into your room and freshen up before setting out to explore all this city has to offer. When not out enjoying the Mother City, relax on your balcony or lounge at the plunge pool and courtyard, soaking up the sunshine.

The next day brings a special outing into the Cape Winelands, where rolling vineyards meet a strong focus on sustainability. Travel in an electric car to visit forward-thinking farms, learn about the vital role of bees, and hand-pick fresh produce from organic gardens. Along the way, enjoy wine tastings and seasonal farm-to-table menus that celebrate the best of the region.

The rest of your stay give you time to explore some of Cape Town’s highlights at your leisure. Head above the clouds to the top of Table Mountain, visit historic Robben Island and be immersed in the powerful stories of South Africa’s poignant history, or pop to one of the beaches.

For the more adventurous of spirit, you could enjoy kite surfing, hiking or abseiling. For something on your own steam, meander along the scenic drive of Chapman’s Peak to Cape Point and encounter the endangered African penguins of Boulders Beach. In the evenings, visit one of the many gastronomic delights that have put Cape Town on the culinary world stage.

Your romantic adventure continues with being transferred back to Cape Town International Airport and flying to Hoedspruit Airport, gateway to the Kruger National Park. On your arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve.

Simbambili Lodge is situated among the dense greenery along the Manyelethi River and overlooks a watering hole. The lodge is a dream destination for big cat lovers with the Sabi Sands Game Reserve being home to the highest concentration of leopard in the world. The Moroccan-styled suites have been sensitively designed to blend in with the environment and carefully positioned to enhance privacy, completed with its own plunge pool.

The Sabi Sands Game Reserve consistently delivers some of the best game viewing on the African continent, and you’ll be in the thick of things with early morning and late afternoon game drives in search of the Big 5. Plus, you can enjoy walking safaris that take you deeper into the intricacies of the landscape.

Included during your stay is a Thornybush Community tour: a 3-hour walking village tour, scheduled outside lodge activities.
