Singita

For many people the Singita brand represents the absolute pinnacle of luxury African safari travel, and their dedication to delivering the ultimate safari experience has long been recognized with countless awards - indeed, Singita has won "Top Hotel in the World" over 15 times in travel publications and reader surveys.

Singita - which means "place of miracles" - lives up to its name in every aspect of the service it provides. Eight Singita lodges are located across South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe: expect the very best locations and superb game viewing complemented by elegant accommodation, world-class service, outstanding cuisine and warm, genuine hospitality.

Moreover, part of Singita's winning formula is that it has always subscribed to the ethos of low impact, high value tourism. Singita successfully blends a luxury African safari experience with respect for the surrounding natural environment and is dedicated to both local community empowerment programmes and conservation projects.

Famous for their leopard sightings, Singita's Boulders and Ebony lodges lie in the Singita Private Game Reserve, within the legendary Sabi Sands and adjoining the Kruger National Park; Singita Lebombo and Sweni on the other hand are found within the Kruger Park but are located in a private, sole-use concession. Game viewing at all four of these lodges is exceptional.

Singita has three lodges in the Singita Grumeti Reserve in the western corridor of Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. Lodge guests are the only visitors to this privately-owned reserve, apart from of course the amazing wildlife found in this iconic destination. Ideally positioned for the famous wildebeest migration, these lodges provide exclusive front-row seats to catch all the drama of the Grumeti River crossings.

One of Africa's best kept secrets, Pamushana Lodge is located within a Big 5 reserve in a secluded corner of Zimbabwe. This region teems with wildlife and features one of the highest concentrations of the endangered black rhino on the continent as well as other rare species such as the roan and sable antelope.
