After breakfast this morning make your way back to Cape Town International Airport where you board a flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, take a light airplane to Ngala Safari Lodge within Ngala Private Game Reserve. Meaning ‘lion' in the local Shangaan language, Ngala comprises well-spaced and secluded suites that neatly blend into the lush foliage on the banks of the seasonal Timbavati River. Encounter wildlife – including the Big 5 – on guided 4×4 game drives and walking safaris led by expert ranger-and-tracker teams. Predators such as cheetah and wild dog are also regularly sighted and the reserve supports several large lion prides, while the river is home to sluggish crocodiles and grunting hippos.
