Day to day

On arrival at Livingstone International Airport, meet your driver for your road transfer to the beautiful Tongabezi Lodge. Set idyllically on the banks of the vast Zambezi River, just upstream from Victoria Falls, Tongabezi is the perfect base from which to explore this natural wonder of the World.

Known as the ‘Adventure Capital of Africa’ for good reason, there is an array of thrill-seeker activities on offer at Victoria Falls. However, if white river rafting, bridge swinging or bungee jumping is a bit too adventurous for you, there’s something for everyone. Head out for a game drive or nature walk to appreciate the surrounding fauna and flora or take a scenic helicopter ride for a bird’s-eye view of the Falls. Float serenely along the river on a boat cruise, try out catch-and-release fishing, or shop for mementos made by local crafters at a local market.

Although there are plenty of activities to fill your days, make sure you spare some time to enjoy the luxury and tranquillity of the award-winning Tongabezi Lodge. Cool off in the plunge pool, relax on the lookout deck, head out for an island picnic, all the while enjoying expansive views of the great Zambezi River.
