The next morning, a hotel shuttle will take you back to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Kihihi Airstrip. On arrival, you'll be met and transferred by scenic 4×4 drive to the beautiful Erebero Hills.

Settle into your glass-fronted suite before enjoying a bite to eat at the main lodge area . The afternoon is yours to enjoy. Head out on a nature trail, take a refreshing swim, indulge in a massage or simply relax and take in the views.

The following day brings the highlight of your Ugandan journey: a gorilla habituation trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early road transfer, you'll set off on a guided trek through misty forest trails to encounter mountain gorillas in their natural habitat — a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. Journey back to the airstrip for a flight back to Entebbe. Another flight back to Nairobi follows, where you’ll conveniently overnight at Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport Hotel, a short distance from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Rooms are well appointed and cosy with all the ammenities for a comfortable stay. Perfect to rest up before the next leg of your safari. Depending on your schedule, there may be time to squeeze in a dip in the swimming pool or if youyou happen to have the afternoon open, you could pop out to explore one or two Nairobi highlights. Perhaps pop into the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage or the Giraffe Centre. Karen is also renowned for its exciting shopping: Kazuri makes beads and pottery from clay dug out of the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Ocean Sole recycles flip-flops washed up on the shore into décor items, and Matbronze is a gallery filled with incredibly lifelike bronze sculptures of wildlife, birds and people.

After an overnight in Nairobi, you head off to the award-winning Encounter Mara Camp. Situated in the private Naboisho Conservancy of the Masai Mara, this non-seasonal camp affords a comfortable stay on the next leg of your safari adventure. Settle in and take stock of your new surroundings – if there is time, you could set out on your first game drive.

Today you cross border into Tanzania. Your driver-guide will transfer you to Ol Seki Airstrip where you fly to Migori Airstrip.  From there, you'll connect to the northern Serengeti, landing at Lamai Airstrip. You'll then spend the next three nights at Ubuntu Migration Camp.

Ubuntu Migration Camp moves seasonally to follow the Great Migration, placing you close to the action. During your stay (in season), you may witness vast herds of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains. Today you leave East Africa, boarding a flight to Livingstone, Zambia.  On touching down in Livingstone, you will be met and driven to Chundukwa River Lodge, which is situated upstream from Victoria Falls on the banks of the Zambezi River.
