Luxury Cape Town, Kruger & Zimbabwe Safari
Southern Africa is a favourite holiday destination, attracting travellers from around the world with its natural beauty and diverse landscapes. This itinerary offers a unique mix of classic African safari experiences, including dedicated game rangers amidst wild savanna biomes and vibrant city living with top tourist attractions.
Your journey begins with a four-night stay in the heart of Cape Town's metropolis at the Cape Grace Hotel. Situated in the lively embrace of the V&A Waterfront, both a working harbour and entertainment district, it provides easy access to some of the city's best restaurants and retail. Next, you'll venture to one of the best safari destinations, Kruger National Park, with its large concentration of Big Five. A luxurious three-night stay at the grand safari lodge Singita Lebombo awaits. Your last stop sees you flying across the border for a wilderness retreat in Zimbabwe's own Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve for a four-night stay at the ultra-luxurious Singita Pamushana Lodge.
This tour is ideal for travellers seeking to blend a taste of world-class city living with an exceptional wildlife safari with high-end luxury throughout. You'll embark on exhilarating game drives and walking safaris while supporting conservation efforts in both the Kruger and Malilangwe. Singita, in tandem with Go2Africa, seeks to minimize your carbon footprint and boost wildlife populations back to thriving numbers.
When you travel with us to the Kruger & Surrounds, you directly contribute to these meaningful initiatives in support of the Endangered Wildlife Trust. If you'd like to visit one of the projects we support through our Positive Impact partners, please speak to your Africa Safari Expert or Client Experience Expert.
When you book this safari Go2Africa will plant a tree in the Western Cape's Uilenkraal Valley, in partnership with Greenpop.
The Cape Grace was wonderful. So glad we chose to stay there. It was the perfect location.
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, a private road transfer will take you to your first four-night stay at the bespoke Cape Grace Hotel. Your luxuriously appointed room is perched along the water's edge of a working harbour, offering ocean views or the silhouette of the iconic Table Mountain.
The Cape Grace is well situated in the heart of Cape Town's most popular districts, the V&A Waterfront, providing easy access to live entertainment, classy restaurants, and retail therapy in the nearby shopping district. Consult the friendly concierge desk for recommendations, you'll also have access to a complimentary car and driver to get you to further attractions, such as the Stellenbosch Winelands or Cape Point Nature Reserve. If you're looking to immerse yourself in local culture, the historical Bo-Kaap neighbourhood is a stone's throw away. Soak in the beauty of the vibrant, colourful houses while stopping at restaurants to taste some of the native Cape Malay delicacies.
Alternative days can be spent soaking in the sunshine on any of the pristine beaches along the Southern Peninsula, or you can visit the foothills of Table Mountain to marvel at the indigenous flora of Kirstenbosch Gardens. After a long day of exploring, you can indulge in a few laps in the pool or experience the tranquillity of a pampering massage at the hotel's spa.

From the greeting on the plane to the entire experience here, this was an outstanding lodge. The only complaint we had, which we shared with the lodge, was that the young man who handled our initial intro to the lodge and our room missed quite a few things that would have been very helpful to know – everything from the phone number to call in order to get someone to walk us to dinner (which is required once the sun has set) to knowing that they prepared snacks for guests to eat before afternoon drives…we saw them and figured another guest has specifically asked for them!). The following day, you'll head back to the airport for a flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Upon arrival, a private road transfer will take you to your next luxury accommodation, Singita Lebombo. These elegantly crafted suites are made of glass and timber that naturally blend into a lush cliff side and overlook the serene Nwanetsi River.
You'll have three nights to spend here with plenty of opportunities to explore the expanse of the Kruger. A specialist guide at your side will offer you exclusive and dedicated game drives, as well as walking safaris, that are tailored to your taste. You'll have the opportunity to curate your safari experience, whether you prefer early morning bush walks to explore more intimate details of the park, or birding game drives dedicated to spotting some of Africa's wild avian raptors. As the largest park in South Africa, that also boasts some of the largest of wildlife, you'll have ample chances to spot any one of the famous Big 5 wildlife.
After a long day of safari adventures, alfresco dining tempts your palate with a fusion of African-inspired international dishes sojourned under the crisp evening sky. Each night you'll be whisked off for a peaceful night’s rest in a plush bed with floor-to-ceiling windows for nonstop views of the African bush.

He was only 1 month into the job, so I suggested that they need to provide him (and others) with a specific orientation checklist so these first-touch moments with guests aren’t left to chance. On the other end of the spectrum, our guide (Garry) and his tracker (Sully) could not have been better. The in-house Sommelier (Minnie) was a pure joy to be around AND she was an excellent wine person! The dinner server we were assigned was also excellent. All in all, a near-perfect 3-day stay.
Singita Pamushana is one of my personal favourite Big 5 safari experiences in Southern Africa. Excellent safari destination for families, groups, romantic honeymoon getaways and even single travellers. There is something special for everyone at Pamushana – walking safaris, game drives, fishing in the Malilangwe Lake, cultural history and scrumptious food. This is everything you think paradise in the bush must be like and I cannot wait to return to this magical place.
The next day, you'll head back to the airstrip for a charter flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, where you'll fly to Buffalo Range Airport. A road transfer will then take you to your final stay at Singita Pamushana Lodge. Here, you'll spend four nights in the luxurious embrace of a spacious suite that offers a private deck with your own plunge pool and dedicated butler services to attend to your needs.
Surrounded by 130,000 acres of private conservancy and tucked away in a remote corner of southeast Zimbabwe, the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve is a proverbial bush paradise. The lodge offers twice-daily outdoor adventures that you can tailor to your safari tastes. You'll have the chance to experience animal tracking in acacia forests and visit the ancient rock art sites of the San people. You can indulge in blissful sundowner cruises or engage in tranquil fishing expeditions on the serene Malilangwe Dam. Whether on foot, in a game vehicle, or by boat, experienced guides are there to enhance the quality of your safari by sharing the secrets of the bush.
As an ultra-luxury retreat, Singita Pamushana offers a host of world-class activities that can be enjoyed in the sanctity of the lodge. Enjoy an active game of tennis surrounded by the sounds of nature or share a drink with friends in the bar area overlooking the dam. A 9-hole golf course is also a short bush drive from the lodge, allowing you to experience competitive fun while still in the tranquil embrace of nature. Each night is capped off by fabulous bush dining on the terrace or in the privacy of your pool deck.
