Tanzania’s Privately Guided Bush, Photography & Stargazing Safari
Tanzania's safari destinations are among the most rewarding on the continent and this 15-day privately guided safari takes in four of the best: Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, the legendary Serengeti, and the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater. Choosing a privately guided safari is how you get all the advantages of tailor-made travel in the competent care of one of Africa's renowned safari guides.
Accompanied from the start of your journey right through to the end, you will climb Mount Meru, become acquainted with the Tarangire red-dust coated elephants and ancient baobabs, and visit the largest intact caldera in the world – the Ngorongoro Crater. You will also traverse the golden safari plains in the Serengeti with a strong focus on photography – capturing award-worthy wildlife shots – and learn about African skies and constellations during fascinating stargazing sessions. In season, you will be right in the action of the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra make their annual circular journey with dramatic predator encounters.
When you book this safari Go2Africa will donate $5 to the VETA Hotel and Tourism Training Institute to support the annual sponsorship of two students.

Plantation Lodge in Ngorongoro – The property, without doubt, is beautiful. We were given a house not a suite of rooms. We had a 4-bedroom house with dining and living facilities plus several balconies. It was like a mini castle. It was called the Garden Room. So, no complaints about the accommodations though it’s a bit surprising that for the plushness of the lodge, they didn’t have shampoo and/or conditioner in the showers. They only had shower gel. This is a small disappointment. Also, the food was a disappointment. It did not live up to the plushness of the property. Nice plating and presentation but the flavors were just not there. A bit off. The service was good. Amenities were good except for the lack of shampoo & conditioner in the shower which to me is very basic. Wifi was present in the rooms but not strong. Wifi was generally NOT consistent or strong in all areas of the lodge including the reception & common areas.
